If you still haven’t tried the newest teachers on our schedule, there has never been a better time to get your yoga on! You know them as the energetic people who make every YOLA experience amazing, but there is a lot that you may not know about your favorite instructors.

YOLA seeks to bring more Vinyasa classes with elements of strength and balance with inspiring music for a personal, fun and unique experience. And, if you’re a YOLA regular, you’ve probably sweated alongside Jos, done a whole body workout with Aedra, explored new limits with Jufen and wondered how Ariana still manages to smile after a 6am class.

We ♥ Yoga at Yoga of Los Altos! Our Summer Splash Challenge will make your Californian summer even more exciting! We have a fun challenge for you, play the BINGO game with us to stand a chance to win big! It’s going to be fun so let’s get started playing BINGO!

How do I get started?
Grab your BINGO card (below) from the Front Desk. Each card has a variety of yoga related challenges (tasks) for you to choose from. You can choose to do them in any order. After you complete a task, please ask the YoLa Front Desk to stamp the appropriate box on your card. Two stamps per day limit + one bonus-task stamp per week. The goal is to complete the entire BINGO card (25 Tasks) for a chance to win. The first 3 students to complete the entire BINGO card will win a main prize. Everyone who participates and completes the challenge by August 15th will get entered into the raffle for a chance to win “one month unlimited” yoga at Yoga of Los Altos. In addition, every week we have a Bonus raffle for another chance to win.

What are the rules?
– Complete a task and get a stamp from our Front Desk staff. Complete your BINGO card to win. 2 stamps per day limit and 1 bonus stamp per week limit.
– Tasks with a #yolasplash, check-in with Instagram, Facebook.

What can I win?
– First 3 students to complete ALL 25 tasks on the BINGO card wins a 10-class pass, valued at $150 USD.
– One winner per week from our bonus raffle for a 5-class pass, valued at $80 USD.
– Everyone who participates and completes the challenge by August 15th will get entered in our raffle for a chance to win “one month unlimited” yoga at Yoga of Los Altos, valued at “Priceless”.

Open Your Hips in Yin Yoga Frog Pose with Janya Wongsopa

In Yin Yoga, you hold the positions for a longer period of time about 5-10 minutes, unlike its counterpart–yang–like Ashtanga, you’re more fluid coming in and out of the poses.

This video takes us through a relaxing Yin pose called Frog, a gentle hip opener to release the fascia in the hip flexors.
